Our President and Founder: Jack Felix

Jack Felix, Founder and President of Vision Technology Design and Manufacturing, Inc., is a pioneer in utility locating, pipeline inspection and water leak location industry.

In 1991, Jack developed a pipeline inspection camera targeted towards the plumbing industry. As that business took off, he started work on a water leak locator system and completed the VT-2000 in 1992. With his many years of selling pipe & cable locators, Jack quickly realized the need to develop a system to locate his camera head. The introduction of a 512HZ frequency which would transmit through cast iron was developed and an in-line transmitter was introduced into the camera head.

Since that time Jack has managed to build his company into a leading producer of locating and inspection equipment in the world.

Jack has been awarded the “Underground Service Alert” certificate of recognition in 1988, 1990, 1991, and 1995 by Underground Service Alert for his contributions to the “one call concept” and “community life line”.

Today Vision ships products worldwide and has partnered with many OEM Contractors.
